The Fitness Week in Review – December 5-8

The week was a short one due to the health crisis my family suffered this week. We’re back on track however, so our week in review is going to be shorter than normal. We’re spending the month of December trying to maintain our fitness and kicking off new fitness programs as well as preparing to make our New Year’s Resolutions.

So here are our few articles from this week, please don’t hesitate to let me know your questions or preferences for more articles in the future.

Tuesday, December 5

In Dear Heather: I Have a Question we launched a new series here in the Fitness blog where I will try to answer the specific questions of readers that are sent in. Private messages are sent periodically and I’ll be answering as many as I can.

Wednesday, December 6

In Post-Natal Fitness: Workout Week Number 1 we began fulfilling our promise to new moms with some workout advice. We’ll add new workouts each week and we’ll be looking for an effort to cover all areas of fitness as possible. In How to Fight the Belly Bulge we discussed how increasing vitamin C can help you fight the weight gain in your midsection and how it helps.

Thursday, December 7

In New York Steps Up to the Plate we discussed the new laws in New York City being enforced to remove trans-fats from restaurant served foods.

Friday, December 8

In Ut Oh – Is It Already Friday? How is the shopping going? I offered a few more suggestions for fitness gift shopping as well as some ideas about how to go about it and avoid offending anyone you love. In Friday Fitness Funnies – These Excuses Don’t Fly we talked about some of the sillier excuses I’ve heard for not catching up on your workout.

What was your favorite story this week?
