Another option for parents or adults looking to recharge their batteries during a quick weekend getaway in a romantic setting is a Bed and Breakfast. Many B and Bs around the country do not permit children to spend the night. You can actually find a listing of hotels, resorts and other accommodations that specialize in adults-only rooms by consulting Zagat.com and looking for properties listed under “Children Not Recommended.”
Finally, adults-only cruises are gaining in popularity. The voyages are designed specifically for adult passengers looking to spend their time on the high seas enjoying peace and quiet. Some companies even allow you to cruise in the buff, while others allow kids on the ship, but have separate pools and other accommodations that are reserved exclusively for adults.
