The Funny Side of Marriage – Husbands

What Your Husband Wants You to Know:

  • If you ask a question you don’t want the answer to; expect to hear an answer you don’t like.
  • You can tell me how to do it or you can ask me to do it; you can’t do both.
  • I don’t read minds; but I can hear.
  • If the lid is up, put it down. You don’t hear me complaining about having to lift it up.
  • Shopping doesn’t equal quality time for me anymore than sports equals quality time for you.
  • I like lists. They clarify a lot of things.
  • If you don’t want to wear Victoria’s Secret Lingerie, don’t expect me to act like a Soap Opera guy
  • If I say something and it can be taken two ways – I didn’t mean it the way that is hurtful or upsetting.
  • If you tell me to forget it – chances are I am going to.
  • Don’t be subtle – I am not good with nuances.
  • If you want me to play detective, don’t get defensive when I ask questions.
  • Finally, love, honor and cherish does not mean I can’t be grumpy at being woken up at 6 on a Saturday morning when I don’t have to work…

Have a great weekend!
