The Marriage Blog Week in Review February 17 – March 2, 2007

Wow, has it really been two weeks since the last time I sat down to write a week in review? This is what happens when it gets too painful to sit in the upright position and type and for that you have my apologies. So we’re going to do a catch us up Marriage Blog Weeks in Review (two of them to be exact) and we’re going to do a rundown of what you may have missed if you were laid up for the last couple of weeks like I was. So without further ado, let’s dive in!

Ask a Marriage Blogger: Why Don’t You Write More About Gay Marriage expressed the concern of one reader about the content of our marriage blog and I answered it as best I could. In Domestic Violence: Don’t Ask; Don’t Tell explores an experience that Sherry had recently (thankfully not with the real thing) but with dental surgery that left her face swollen and bruised.

In Being Supportive of Our Spouses Sherry explores a theme that is important to all of us, even when it’s difficult and may make our own lives a little harder.

It can be a hard question to answer and to admit to, but Have You Let Yourself Go? Monday, February 26

How’s Married Life Treating You? do you remember this question that people asked in that first year after you got married?

Tuesday, February 27

Sherry asks a really good question and it’s about more than just being open and honest with your spouse, it’s about being really honest with yourself about your flaws and your positive attributes. Courtney Mroch guest blogs in Marriage today with a great question many wives have struggled with: Am I a Ms. Or a Mrs?

Wednesday, February 28

Thursday, March 1

Welcome to March and to Sherry’s experience with her husband as they invested in Buying a New Car Together.

Friday, March 2

After a week of being away, I returned with The Best of the February Marriage Blog – Letters of Love, a salute to one of the best series I think we’ve ever done in the Marriage Blog. Finally, in My Husband is Pretty Great, I take some time to salute and thank my husband for how great he’s been over the last few weeks as we struggled with my health issues and surgery.

What was your favorite article in the last couple of weeks?
