Have you ever visited ToysRUs.com or BabiesRUs.com? Well, get ready for a new look! The new website has lost the lavender and replaced it with a multi-colored menagerie of fun! According to the ‘R’ Us family, their site has been redesigned and reorganized. You can shop by category, specialty store, age, and brand.
I used to frequent the Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us sites when I was looking to spend a gift card for my daughter or just to check product availability. As much as I love purple — it’s one of my favorite colors — the lavender hue of the page sort of made me feel nauseous. My husband felt weird looking at all because he said it made him feel like the pages were only meant for women to peruse. As silly as that sounds, I couldn’t exactly blame him there. The new pages are full of vibrant colors, much more appealing to the eye.
I really like the way the new Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us sites are set up. It is much easier to search for and find items. They even have some products that I have never seen before. For example, they now have a specialty category called Differently Abled, which includes a “toy guide for differently abled kids.” I think that is a neat addition. I am not exactly sure what this is supposed to imply because I did not notice any difference in the toys from other categories. Perhaps it is simply a suggestion of toys to help children develop certain skills better. You might want to contact Toys ‘R’ Us if you are interested. There are Toys ‘R’ Us exclusive toys and even a clearance section.
As far as Babies ‘R’ Us, you can find the same items that you are used to finding, but in a more organized manner. In their specialty category, they include a section just for moms/moms-to-be. There is even a section where you can order personalized products for your baby. What a difference!
The new Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us sites are terrific and more user friendly. Please visit today and you won’t believe the difference!
