The Next Hannah Montana Must Have

The next thing your kid is going to want is a flight to Nashville on Sunday. There will be an open casting call at the Sommet Center by Walt Disney Studios for extras to appear in “a major motion picture based on a hit television series starring a well known pop teen sensation.”

Since we all know the Hannah Montana movie will be shot in Nashville, this seems a bit of a no-brainer. Let’s see…hit Disney television series…Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? Not likely. Mickey has ceased to be a pop teen sensation as he’s fairly elderly now. The biggest television series to hit Disney lately that includes a well known pop teen sensation is the one and only, Hannah Montana.

The open casting call for extras will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, at the Sommet Center in Nashville. If you decide to go, plan to be very early as the line is likely to form Saturday night. If you’re one of those show business mothers who decides to pack up the kids and bring them to Nashville, be sure that each child has with them a recent nonreturnable photo and a pen.

Yes, a pen. Be prepared.

Walt Disney Studios says they are looking for background actors of all ages for non-speaking parts, so moms and dads are welcome too (so long as they brink a photo and a pen). No acting experience is necessary as this is a casting call for non-speaking, background parts.

The Sommet Center is an entertainment and sports arena in downtown Nashville. It is located at 501 Broadway and the main entrance is at the corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue.

If you are in the Nashville area and decide to attend, please stop by and let us know how it went!
