The big push is on. The closer it gets to December the 25th, the busier everyone seems to get. Which is what the Week in Review is made for. If you’ve been too preoccupied with other things lately, here’s a way to keep up with what Aimee and I wrote last week on:
Monday, December 10
Aimee’s a freelance writer by trade but she wanted a little something to get her out of the house at least part time. So what kind of job did she get? One with animals of course! She helps out at a cats only boarding house.
The gorillas that call the Congo home were on my mind once again after I watched Anderson Cooper report on how their fate has gotten even worse lately.
Diary of a Cat Care B&B: The Characters
Who knew cats had so many personality types? Aimee gave a fun account of the types she’s encountered so far at her new job.

What’s the Deal with Mr. Meow?
Speaking of cats with personality…my creepy cat has become a love nugget of a cat lately and it’s making me a little worried.
Aimee recounted a heartwarming tale about a lost dog who’d spent seven months away from home but eventually found his way back.

Shopping the Catalogs: Pet Lovers Paradise
I am a catalog shopper anyway, but this year it seemed to me catalog companies upped their pet offerings.
Thursday, December 13
I don’t know where Aimee finds these amazing stories, but this one was incredible: a Japanese inventor found a way to have an electric eel light up a Christmas tree.
Friday, December 14
Shopping the Catalogs: Personalized Pet Ornaments
I listed my favorite finds for 2007 and the catalogs in which I found them.
Saturday, December 15
Aimee stumbled across the story of a family turtle who’s turned into a giant –one that has a tendency to escape from time to time.
Waiter! There’s a Cougar in my Hot Tub!
Where Aimee finds these stories, or comes up with her great titles, I have no idea, but this one was a doozie about a woman taking a nice soak in her hot tub, alone –until a cougar joined her.
Sunday, December 16
Because pets are getting more obese, their diabetes levels are rising. Aimee talks about the disease and its affects on cats and dogs.
