The Pets Blog Week in Review for Jul 16-22

Did you notice a skip in coverage of the Pets Blog Week in Review? That’s because last week was my big vacation (I’ll be writing about that more this week) with Murphy and Wayne. Thus I wasn’t around to post last Monday for the week before. But vacation’s over so it’s back to the grindstone. Looks like Aimee covered a lot of interesting topics. (And I even snuck a few in myself.) Here’s what we covered on:

Monday, July 16

We swam with kangaroos and author/publisher/pet rescuer Dindy Robinson in Part I of my interview with her. Aimee kicked off her tribute to Rabbit Week with Pavlov’s Rabbit, a tale about her pet bunny Bun-bun that she had as a kid, an experiment, and a science fair.

Tuesday, July 17

We again swam with kangaroos and author/publisher/pet rescuer Dindy Robinson in Part II of her interview. This time she gave us the low down on her house of cats. In keeping with the theme of the week (Rabbit Week), Aimee profiled one of the many breeds. This day was Angora rabbits.

Wednesday, July 18

My pet sitting duty with a neighbor’s dog a few weeks back prompted me to ponder: Can animal planet scare your pet?

Thursday, July 19

Selling a house is no easy task. Doing it with pets can be challenging. Doing it with pets who want to be in the picture is even more trying.

Friday, July 20

Dutch rabbits, among the most popular breeds of rabbit in the world, was one of the breeds du jour Aimee chose to cover, as were lop and mini-lop rabbits.

Saturday, July 21

Aimee looked at chinchilla rabbits, so named because of their fur. She also related what she, Moose and Lally did at sleep-away camp. (Happily no dogs were injured in the making of this tale, but there might be a couple of cats who suffered a bit of trauma.)

Sunday, July 22

Aimee kept on pace with her celebration of Rabbit Week by profiling Netherland Dwarf rabbits.
