What did Aimee and I write about during the last full week of July? In case you’re wondering because summer vacation plans kept you away from the computer, here’s the Week in Review recap.
Monday, July 21
Just how much does your pet influence your lifestyle? Do you even know? Or are you well aware of their impact?
Because of Aimee’s experiences with her own dogs, she learned about inflammatory bowel disease in pets and passed her knowledge on to us.
Tuesday, July 22
I explained why I am absolutely loving “The Greatest American Dog!”
Apparently Aimee’s become the crazy dog lady. (Self-diagnosed. I’m not calling her that!)
Wednesday, July 23
In “A Dog is Not a Barbie Doll.” (And Other “Greatest” Quotes), I shared my favorite quotes from the show’s second episode.
If I thought declawing was bad, it was nothing compared to having a monkey’s teeth pulled. (I didn’t do it. I just watched about how someone else had done it.)
Aimee discussed Lally’s separation anxiety. (A heart wrenching account to read. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!)
Thursday, July 24
There are many things we do for our cats, but some are more over the top than others. (In my case at least.)
I talked cats, ferrets, and writing with Ed Lynskey. (Always love when people humor me with interviews!)
Friday, July 25
A discussion in the forums prompted the article Bad Situations: Loose Dogs vs. Leashed Dogs.
Saturday, July 26
Aimee shared some pointers on how to speak cat. (Cute, cute, cute article!)
In another Diary of a Cat Care B&B entry, Aimee explained how she recently logged a personal best when she bathed four cats. (Not at once, but in one day…and lived to tell about it! I’d say that’s a “best” worthy feat indeed!)
Sunday, July 27
Here it is, our beloved day of rest and replenishment!
