October’s speeding along at a frightfully fast pace. Before you know it Halloween will be here. If you’re having a heck of a time keeping up on everything, including the Pets Blog, let me be of some assistance with this week’s Week in Review. Here’s what Aimee and I covered on:
Monday, October 15
Aimee’s been doing a good job covering all things fish this month. Today’s installment was More Common Freshwater Diseases. I reported on the dog days festival that Murph, Wayne, and I went to.
Tuesday, October 16
Aimee explained that cloudy aquarium water is not normal and a sign of trouble. She went on to give examples of what might be causing it and how to remedy it. I looked at the many varieties of pooper scoopers, from frugal to fancy.
Wednesday, October 17
Aimee was suffering some separation anxiety at the prospect of leaving behind Moose and Lally for a jaunt back to visit her family. I wrote about more viral animal emails, this time the kind that tug at my heart.
Thursday, October 18
How’s this for an amusing title: Love is A Fat Lip and A Black Eye. It got even funnier from there as Aimee related a misadventure with Lally and one of her friends. Poop was a running theme for me this week. This time I detailed how to pick the purrfect litter box.
Friday, October 19
In Fish Food Basics, Aimee explained the different types of food and what to feed to different types of fish. She also interviewed a lady who adopted one not so cute kitten from a shelter then turned around and started The Ugly Kitty site, which has now helped to raise over $1,500 for the shelter.
Saturday, October 20
For Sweetest Day I wrote about how sweet it is to be loved by Murphy, Kitty, and Tabby. Aimee went into a little more detail about the different types of fish food. For Reptile Awareness Day I gathered some reptilian facts, which I presented in Reptile Awareness: Did You Know…?
Sunday, October 21
Now that you know about the different types of food, Aimee offered up some fish feeding tips.
