Office Depot is offering rock bottom Black Friday deals each Friday from now until November 25th, while Carter’s is practically giving away select children’s outfits during its series of doorbuster sales that run through the end of the month.
However, retailers are not the only ones looking to entice frugal shoppers during the countdown to Christmas. The travel industry, specifically, major hotels and resorts, are looking to drum up seasonal business as well by offering amazing deals at popular properties.
Some of the hottest holiday-related deals include:
IHG, the parent company of Holiday Inn, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, and Staybridge Suites is kicking off its “Gotta Get 100” deal for the holiday season. The hotel chain just announced its huge Black Friday-Cyber Monday promo. The catch: It’s only offered on Twitter. The details: If you subscribe to IHG’s @IHG_Deals feed and find the “Gotta Get 100” link you can register for the deal. The promo runs between now and November 28, and if you are selected you will be eligible to take $100 off of any flight on any airline to any destination provided you book two consecutive weekend nights (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) at an IHG hotel through April 29, 2012.
Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa is also getting into the holiday spirit by offering sensational Black Friday savings. The top-rated full-service beachfront resort, located in Destin, Florida, has something for everyone. This year, to celebrate the biggest shopping day of the year, the hotel is offering its biggest deal ever. You will receive 30% off the lowest for stays November 26, 2011- February 29, 2012; if you book on Black Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
The Hilton Sandestin Beach is also giving you the chance to get a head start on your holiday festivities with a special Thanksgiving deal, which includes room accommodations, daily breakfast for four, a visit to Santa’s Workshop for the kids, seats to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade viewing party in the resort’s theater, poolside s’more roast, plus access to a slew of other family-friendly activities from Wednesday, November 23 through Sunday, November 26, 2011, for just $265 per night.
