Everyone and anyone has heard of the Slim-Fast Diet. It has been around for years now. The basics of the plan is that you drink your breakfast and lunch, which is a can of Slim-Fast and then eat a light meal at dinnertime. One can of Slim-Fast is approximately 180 calories. This is not a bad deal if you think about it.
One good thing about this diet is that it has been proven to get results. Another thing that is on a positive note is that it takes the guesswork and decision making problems out of what type of meals you will eat at breakfast and lunch. It is a simple concept, convenient, portable, and you do not have to cook OR clean up.
Slim-Fast also makes snacks so if you do get hungry you can always reach for one of those providing you are not reaching for one too often. It will add to the calories, however, and slow your weight loss progress down a bit. As well, there are different variations of the diet to customize your plan to your individual dietary needs.
The only drawback that I see is that you will have to be careful once your weight loss goal has been achieved that you do not overeat at breakfast and lunch. You will always have to be careful and stick to light meals, but this is true with anyone who has lost weight and battled to keep it off.
As with any type of dieting plan it is advisable to seek your physician’s direction on losing weight. You should seek his or her approval first for any additional advice on the Slim-Fast plan or any other type of weight loss plan.
