Think Pink For A Good Cause

Forget about orange and black—-the hot color for October is pink.

For the past few weeks I’ve been blogging about products designed to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. If you haven’t dug deep to purchase one of the many fashionable pink items up for sale this month… what are you waiting for?

To see the products featured in previous blogs click here. Otherwise, take a look at this updated list of some new items whose profits will help those in need.

VITA BRACELETS

Vita bracelets are all the rage in Hollywood. Celebrities like Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston are big fans of Vita’s chain link faux snakeskin bands. And now is your chance to get in on the trend. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Vita is offering a light pink 24 karat gold plated bracelet. The wrist jewelry sells for $66 and $44 from each sale will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure with a guaranteed minimum donation of $10,000. Get a look at the bracelet here.

STYLISH TOPS

You can also join the fight against breast cancer by purchasing one of the following comfy and trendy tops.

Splendid is offering a pink camouflage tank for $42. The company will then donate 25% of the proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

For $40 you can own a Primp Loves Milk at shopatmilk.com. The company will then donate 50% of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Another way to donate to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation and get a cute top to boot is by purchasing a C&C California classic camisole with an allover pink ribbon print. It retails for $48, at adasa.com and 30% of proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN

For the entire month of October Bloomingdales.com is running a “Little Pink Boutique.” Ten percent of all sales from the section will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. If it’s pink then it’s in this boutique. From clothing to jewelry, housewares, shoes and accessories there are enough items for you, your sisters, your mother and all of your friends to pick up a great gift and contribute to a great cause.
