Another end of a week and instead of a week in review I’m going to do another week of praise points. This is the first part. I praise God for:
Dreams, hopes and aspirations.
God’s wisdom in realizing I was unable because of illness to do a job I’d been asked to do and not trying to push myself to do the impossible.
God’s enabling leading the music on Sunday and the great songs chosen which focused on what an Indescribable and awesome God we serve and that He is Holy but our sins are forgiven and we are washed whiter than snow. Another which listed all the reasons why we praise him and can rejoice.
Great answer to prayers for a person prayed for last week
God’s healing hand after several days of severe headache that left me ill and worn out.
Thinking and writing about guilt, sin, repentance and forgiveness. Praising God for His provision of Jesus. Praising God that He is faithful and forgives sins when confessed and repented of
The printer decided not to print as it needed a new cartridge about three quarters through printing a novel manuscript of 89000 words. I needed to post it off for a deadline, but my husband gave the toner cartridge a couple of shakes which was enough to get the ink moving and get the job finished without having to trek into Nowra to get a new cartridge
A copy of a book containing the story I wrote for Shaping the Nation arrived. Great illustrations have been chosen to go with it. I love the way illustrators pick up on an author’s idea .
In our bible study, my husband and I are now looking at great prayers of the bible and what we can learn from them to incorporate in our own prayer lives, eg Abraham, Jacob and David so far.
Our SRE class loves singing songs about Jesus and sings enthusiastically.
