10. James Cameron to Direct Again!
James has laid low since his 1997 blockbuster Titanic, but he has agreed to direct the new film Avatar, a sci-fi epic to begin filming in April. He says the special effects in Avatar will blow you away – they had better to outdo the success of Titanic!
9. Suzanne Somers’ Home Burns Down
Poor Suzanne Somers lost her Malibu home earlier this week due to a wildfire. She was not home at the time of the blaze and said she would rebuild.
8. Hilary’s In Love
No, not Clinton but Swank. After splitting from hubby Chad Lowe last year, Hilary admitted to InStyle magazine that she is in love again, but her “great guy” is not a public person, so she will not identify him. If you have seen the photos of her and agent John Campisi together, I don’t think it’s too hard to guess who the new love is.
7. Katey Sagal Welcomes Baby #3
Actress Katey Sagal and husband Kurt Sutter welcome their first baby together, Esme Louise, born by surrogate. This is her first child with husband Kurt Sutter. Katey’s two other children, daughter Sarah, 12 and son Jackson, 10 are from her previous marriage to Jack White.

Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan announced his engagement to model Sunshine Tutt this week. It will be the first marriage for both.
5. Hilton/Spears Worst-Dressed
Paris Hilton and new BFF Britney Spears tied for number one on Mr. Blackwell’s 2006 Worst Dressed List. As little as Britney wears now days, I would imagine she was almost disqualified. Spot number three went to Lindsay Lohan. Best dressed celebs included Kate Winslet, Angelina Jolie, and Helen Mirren.
4. Marcia Cross Put on Bedrest
Desperate Housewife Marcia Cross has been put on bedrest by her doctors until the end of her pregnancy. The 44-year-old actress is expecting twins in April.
3. Beckham Joins the LA Galaxy
Soccer superstar David Beckham is coming to America! He signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy of the Major Soccer League (MSL). The former English captain leaves Real Madrid for sunny LA. Hopefully, he can bring a little extra attention to American soccer.

Marilyn Manson and wife of a year Dita Von Teese filed for divorce while long time couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake announced that they were splitting after almost four years together.
