2. Stools
A quick and easy way to help your child get along in an adult-centered world is to purchase and place stools strategically around your home. If your child likes to spend time with you as you prepare meals in the kitchen, then set aside a stool for him or her to stand on. Stools in the kitchen are especially helpful if your child does chores, such as the dishes or assists you will washing food as you prepare it.
Children also benefit from having a stool in the bathroom. They can use bathroom stools to help them reach the toilet and to see in the mirror as they brush their teeth.

Children love spending time with adults acting like adults. Yet, there is little more that makes them feel young and small than having to sit in a grown-up chair but not fit. Therefore, purchasing a child-sized chair is the perfect way to help your children feel as if they have a piece of furniture of all their own that fits their little bodies. Child-sized chairs can be purchased cheaply from most home furnishing stores.
5. Kid-friendly paint
Using chalk or dry-erase paint on some of your walls will help your children exercise their creativity in a manner than is safe and easy to clean. You can purchase chalk and dry-erase paint from just about any paint or home decorating store. Simply paint it on any surface, just as you would any other paint and let it dry for 24 hours before applying chalk or marker. Your children will love the alternative paint and their friends will think they are pretty fun too.
