Top Places for Free Samples

free I love getting free samples. From shampoo to coloring books, there are a lot of opportunities out there to get your hands on some free product. Here are some of my top ways to obtain free samples.

Company Websites: This is by far the best way to obtain a lot of free samples. Simply search for the company’s name and the word “free” or the words “free sample.” Well-known companies, such as Pampers, Campbells and more will often have promotions offering free samples. You can also check in the Families.com Deals Forum for the latest internet freebies.

Start Sampling: This is a website dedicated to offering free samples. It is easy to sign up, and the samples on this sight are always changing. http://www.startsampling.com/

Walmart: The superstore itself has a regular page on its website offering multiple samples. Click here to learn more about Walmart’s sample offers.

OB/GYN Offices: There is not a visit that goes by where I don’t pick up everything from free pregnancy and baby magazines to vitamins and breast cream. My OB/GYN office often gets boxes of gift kits for pregnant and new moms. These gift kits range from diaper samples and cream to breast pads, bottles and formula.

Pediatric Offices: Pediatric offices are a lot like the OB/GYN offices. They often have gift kits, formula and magazines. I did get a lot of samples of my son’s expensive asthma medication, just by asking the nurse.

Magazines: After you get all of those free magazines, don’t forget to look inside them. From perfume, lotions and other cosmetic samples, to bibs, crayons, puzzle books and more, magazines are a boom for small samples.

Grocery/Warehouse Stores: Grocery and Warehouse stores always seem to run sample promotions to get you to try new products. If you don’t see any around your store, go up to customer service and ask. I have gotten everything from full-size boxes of cereal to cookies from the bakery.

Unexpected Places: As you go through your day of errands, look around you. There are samples to be found in unexpected places. The library often gives away free books, CDs and magazines, the post office has offered stamp coloring books, as does the fire department. Even the local chinese take-out had some free samples of cute little ribbon toys.
