I’ve loved Legos since I was a kid. Yes, they had them back then. Of course, at that time, they were mostly red, white, and blue bricks, without a lot of the fancy things they have now. My boys have crates full of them, from Star Wars-themed ones, to a half-finished scale model of the White House. It’s one toy that they don’t grow out of.
My dad is a Lego collector. His passion for them only grows every year. Duplos are the pre-cursors to Legos. They’re great for children whose fine motor skills are not yet developed enough to handle the smaller pieces.
