Travel Options in the Poconos

The Pocono Mountains are simply beautiful, making this a great place to spend quality time with the family. When staying in the Poconos, you will quickly discover a wide range of options. One place that I highly recommend is called Naomi Village, which is just one example. This particular resort is designed for families although pets are not permitted.

To give you an idea of what Naomi Village and other resorts in the Pocono Mountains have to offer, I have pulled some information. For starters, you will find a number of smaller suits, which is more like a large studio apartment. This particular option can sleep two to four. Amenities are a kitchen, living room with cable TV, VCR, fireplace, and microwave. Typically, this type of accommodation is very affordable, perfect for the single parent.

Then, you will find deluxe cottages, which are private accommodations that feature a beautiful porch, usually with a lakeside view. In addition, this type of accommodation has a private entrance, fireplace, microwave, color cable TV, VCR, and often, a Jacuzzi tub. If you have several children, this would be perfect, also sleeping between two and four people.

Cottage suits are also popular choices in the Pocono Mountains. Designed for up to four people, you would have a separate bedroom that offers two double beds, as well as sleeping in the living room. Country suits are also a great choice, which is a much larger studio type setting. Although you can only fit two to three people, the amenities are incredible to include microwave, cable color TV and VCR, fireplace, king size bed, and a two-person Jacuzzi, as well as a private entrance with boat deck.

For the larger families, you could go with a beautiful mountain retreat, ski house, or even private home. The mountain retreat is usually designed for two to four people, feature much of what the other accommodations offer. However, the ski house is much larger, made to fit a family up to eight. In addition to a full stocked kitchen, you would have two to three bedrooms, which also includes an oversized loft. Then for the vacation home, you would have room for up to ten people. In fact, some of these homes are up to 4,000 square feet so you have plenty of room.
