Trouble, More Trouble, and a Marriage

Hasselhoff Loses Visitation Rights

Actor turned reality show judge David Hasselhoff has temporarily lost visitation rights to see his two daughters after one filmed him while drunk. An emergency order was filed by Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach and a family court judge suspended his rights to see his daughters until May 21. Bach’s attorney has asked the court to force Hasselhoff into alcohol rehab before he can see his daughters again. The video was taken earlier this year and Hasselhoff’s lawyer has admitted the actor has struggled to stay clean and is taking steps to make sure a relapse does not occur again.

Hasselhoff can be seen shortly as America’s Got Talent returns to the air on May 29th with a two-hour season premiere.

George Michael Pleads Guilty

I will admit that I used to love George Michael in the 80s and thought he was an immensely talented songwriter. BUT…that being said, in my opinion at least, he has not done much with that talent in the past 10 years and now, like Boy George, his name only seems to hit the headlines when he is in trouble. He was arrested last October, slumped over his steering wheel at a traffic light and just pleaded guilty to the charge of driving under the influence of drugs. He seemed confused when entering his plea, having to confer with his lawyer to get out a guilty plea. He will be sentence on May 30th. Michael was arrested for possession of Class C drugs in February 2006, but was cautioned and released.

It is a shame he can’t kick his drug habit, get over himself, and start making great music again.

Actress Neve Campbell Marries

Neve Campbell married British actor John Light last Saturday in a small ceremony in Malibu. The two met while filming Investigating Sex in 2001 and were engaged in 2006. Campbell is best known for her role as Julia in “Party of Five” and Sidney in the Scream horror trilogy starred in Showtime’s “The Lion in Winter” and HBO’s “Band of Brothers.” Campbell was previously married to actor Jeff Colt and was linked to actor John Cusack in the late 90s.
