Shopping online can be very time consuming. You may need to go through a lot of websites before you can find the thing you are looking for. It is not always easy to find the item you want for the price you wanted to spend on it. Auction sites are iffy, because someone could outbid you. Instead of going through this hassle, try MyFORBUY. One of the first 1,000 new users will win an iPad2!
It seems that most people either love to shop online, or they absolutely hate it. While it is nice to be able to purchase what you need without having to leave your house, there are some problems that go along with shopping online. When you shop online, you cannot touch the item before you buy it. You cannot flip through it, try it on, or see what it smells like. It can take a long time to search through several different websites, as you try to find the best price. In some cases, it can take a while before you are able to find a website that actually sells what you are hoping to buy.
It seems that Scott Pine, the founder of MyFORBUY, also experienced some frustrations when he was shopping online. In 2009, he started the MyFORBUY company, which is designed to let people create their own buying experience. The website makes it much easier for buyers to find whatever it is that they want to buy, and to find it locally, at a price that they are comfortable with spending. You can choose to search through the listings that people have posted of stuff that they want to sell, or, make your own posting that describes what you want to buy. It is possible that someone who is selling that item will find you.
The first time I ever heard of MyFORBUY, my husband and I were outside, and doing some errands downtown. As we walked down the sidewalk, I noticed a woman who was wearing the kind of shoes that have roller skate wheels built into them. This was the first time I’d seen an adult wearing “skateshoes”.
It turned out that she was handing out little cards that advertised the MyFORBUY website. The card said you can use the website to sell vehicles, electronics, and furniture. You can also use it to search for an apartment, or to buy and sell college textbooks. When I looked at the website, I noticed that people are not limited to only those types of goods. It’s a pretty interesting site.
Right now, if you go to the MyFORBUY Facebook page and click the “like” button, you can enter the contest to win an iPad2. It will automatically direct you to the MyFORBUY website, where you can set up an account for free. Post a “want” or a sales “alert” and you have officially entered the contest.
