Two Unlikely Pairs—How Long Will They Last?

WHAT ABOUT JACK?

You may remember her from TV’s “The Practice.” Or from NBC’s “Las Vegas.” Though, her most publicized role to date could be that of Jack Nicholson’s girlfriend. I’m talking about Lara Flynn Boyle and yes, Nicholson was 33 years her senior, but the two seemed to hit it off and went public with their romance at the 1999 Emmys and reportedly remained together through the latter part of 2000.

Well, so much for Jack. According to PEOPLE magazine, Boyle and her new boyfriend, Donald Ray Thomas were married on Monday.

“She’s ecstatic,” Boyle’s spokeswoman told the magazine. She’s “very, very happy.”

Apparently the pair met two years ago and became friends before starting to date six months ago. Besides her well-publicized hook up with Nicholson, Boyle was also previously linked to actors Kyle MacLachlan and David Spade.

YOUNG LOVE

Okay, I give this one a month. No, make that three weeks. For 19-year-old singer Aaron Carter loves seems to comes on like a bolt of lightning and lasts about as long as the flash.

You’ll remember his impromptu marriage proposal in September to Kari Ann Peniche, his girlfriend of just a few days (P.S. they called it quits after six days)—well, now cupid has struck the “House of Carters” star again. His latest piece of arm candy: 18-year-old Kaci Brown, a singer who opened for the Backstreet Boys during their 2005 summer tour.

“Now I’m in a great relationship. I’ve only known her for, like, seven days, but I have a connection with her that’s like nothing else I’ve ever experienced,” Carter recently told PEOPLE magazine. “It’s really amazing.”

According to the magazine, Brown is a good friend of Carter’s sister, Angel. Carter says he and Brown began their romance in Miami last week while celebrating his birthday. Asked what Brown gave him for his big day, Carter replied: “She got me love.”

Did I say three weeks? I meant 10 days.
