This is one of those qualities marriages need in spades. And the reality is sometimes we don’t understand why our partner is behaving the way they do. That’s largely because women and women think and behave differently in situations and respond differently to them. They can also feel superfluous and like they are no longer needed or useful even. So women, you need to make a point of letting them know how important they still are and to make time for them.
Even as the children grow, the father can still sometimes feel they are living on the periphery of the family’s lives so make sure you find ways to include him.
I guess the biggest thing is to try and put yourself in the other person’s place and imagine how they might be feeling. This would go a long way to helping us m be more understanding of each other’s needs
