This is a great way for genealogists to learn more about their favorite hobby and to meet other people who also enjoy genealogy. On May 21, 2012, the St. Augustine Episcopal Church, which is located in Vero Beach, Florida, will hold Genealogy Class 2 for beginners. It will begin at 10:00 in the morning and will end at noon. It will cost adults $3.50 to attend.
On May 22, 2012, the Forsyth County Public Library, which is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will continue their series of nine free genealogy workshops. The third one is called “Researching Your Ancestors: Using Civil War Records”. It will be presented by Cliff Roberts, who is a genealogist and an author. This workshop will begin at 6:30 in the evening.
On May 24, 2012, the Forsyth County Public Library, that is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will continue their series of nine free genealogy workshops. The fourth one is called “History’s Influence on Migration Patterns, 17 t h Century through Early 20 th Century”. It will be presented by genealogist Dr. Kathy Dempsey, and it will start at 6:30 in the evening.
On May 24, 2012, the Rolling Hills Library, which is located in St. Joseph, Missouri, will continue its series of genealogy programs. This one is called “Preserving Your Family Artifacts”. It will be presented by Sarah Elder of the St. Joseph Museums. It is about how to preserve your family’s heirlooms. This program will be presented twice. One session will start at 1:00 in the afternoon, and end at 3:00 in the afternoon. The other will start at 6:00 in the evening, and will end at 8:00 at night.
On May 24, 2012, the Morningside Library, which is located in Port St. Lucie, Florida, will hold Genealogy Class 2 for beginners. It will begin at 9:30 in the morning and will end at noon. It will costs adults $3.50 to attend.
