Usher’s Mini Me

Stop the presses! It appears pigs just learned to fly and they’re circling over Usher, his estranged mother and his new wife.

In an event that most people agreed would only happen when swine took flight, the award-winning singer, his mother Jonetta Patton and his new wife Tameka Foster united for the launch of the USHER for Men and USHER for Women fragrance launch party in Manhattan on Tuesday—-and no one left with any visible scars.

Could it be possible that the three have ended their much-publicized feud?

According to news reports, Patton, who has reportedly clashed with Foster (she reportedly did not attend the couple’s wedding, and on more than one occasion it was rumored that she threatened to cut ties with Usher if he married the 37-year-old divorcee) is now speaking out saying she is looking forward to the couple’s birth. “I’m very excited about being a grandmother,” Patton said

WHOA! You have got to wonder what serious dialogs went down between Usher and his mom in the last few weeks. To go from threatening her son if he married Foster and refusing to appear at his wedding to flying to New York and appearing alongside the “happy couple”—that’s a major change of heart.

Could it be that Usher issued his mother an ultimatum? Accept my choice in wives or you’ll never see your soon-to-be born grandchild? Did it help that Usher recently announced that the baby Foster is carrying is a boy?

Yes, Usher is having a son. It’s the baby boy he recently told the world on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that he has secretly been pining for. This child, he says, is the person he intends to pass his name onto and make into a mini version of himself.

“If it’s a boy, I’m going to name him Usher,” the musician – full name Usher Raymond – told DeGeneres. “I’m the fourth. Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on.”

And now it appears the grandma-to-be wants in on the action. Ah, the power of newborns…
