It’s not listed as a Top 10 place to ski (at least in not in the Ultimate Guide), but the Tyrolean Lodge in Aspen is still an outstanding family-friendly resort. What’s more, this spring break it’s offering an unbelievable deal for ski loving families.
Right now the property is advertising rooms starting at $195 a night, but its website has a line saying, “Recession Help Available! Please call.” The lodge’s owner said he recently quoted a rate of $150 to a family who wanted to give their kids a spring break to remember, but couldn’t afford the rack rate.
