Walt Disney World Dolphin

The Walt Disney World Dolphin resort is located on Crescent Lake and shares recreational options, convention facilities, restaurants and shopping with it’s sister site, the Walt Disney World Swan. These hotels are not owned by Disney but by Westin Hotels. Through a reciprocal agreement, they are considered Walt Disney World resorts.

The Dolphin is within walking distance of Epcot, Disney’s Boardwalk and the Yacht & Beach Club. This 27 story, triangular tower with 1,509 units (136 are suites and 77 are concierge rooms) is crowned by two 56-foot dolphin statues.

Just a note – if you’re expecting the usual dolphin here, you’re in for a surprise, the dolphins you’ll see are the fish, not the mammals. You can see the face of one on the far right of the photo of the Dolphin lobby.

Standard guest rooms with two double beds can accommodate up to four adults comfortably. Rooms with one king sized bed are also available. Accommodations include coffeemakers, iron/ironing boards, a hair dryer, a desk, telephone, in-room safe, pay per view movies, mini-bar, vanity dressing area, data port, cable TV, and full bath.

Junior suites have one king sized bed, a Murphy bed, table, chairs, sofa, in room safe, iron/ironing board, full bath with hair dryer, a coffeemaker, a mini-bar, cable TV, and a two line telephone with voicemail.

The Executive suite has two bedrooms, one with two double beds and one with a king-sized bed. It also has a sitting area with table, chairs and sofa, as well as a full bath in each bedroom. A hair dryer, iron/ironing board, two line telephone with voicemail and data port, an in-room safe, and a mini-bar are also included.

The Grand suite is similar to the Executive suite but has two queen-sized beds in one bedroom and one king-sized bed in the other.

Concierge level rooms include free continental breakfast in the morning and a private lounge for cocktails and appetizers in the evening.
