As part of my Sizzling Summer Slim Down challenge, I have a challenge for my readers. If you would like to win a free copy of the DVD The Abs Diet Workout, then this might be the challenge for you! This challenge is pretty straightforward. The challenge opens today and will close on midnight central time, Friday, May 12th.
All you need to do is to write an essay (minimum 300 words) and tell me about what inspires you to lose weight. I shared with you my Top Five Weight Loss Motivators earlier today. You can use that as a guide, if you will. Your essay should tell me a little bit about who you are, how old you are and what provides you with your inspiration and your motivation to pursue weight loss.
The second part of the challenge is that your essay must also be positive. I don’t want you to write about how awful you look or use negative self-talk to bash yourself. For example: I want to lose weight because I look like a cow. Ehhhh. Nope. Automatic disqualification. This essay should be positive and for those of you who don’t like to talk to yourself positively, this is a good time to practice it.
Finally, be sure to spell and grammar check your essays. I’m not really likely to count off for anyone who has a typo, but it just makes it easier reading. The top 3 will be posted here in the Weight Loss blog and shared with our other members. The top essay writer will receive a copy of the Abs Diet Workout DVD for free, courtesy of me. The second and third place winners will receive honorable mentions.
