Want a Creative Way to Propose?

Are you ready to ask the woman of your dreams to marry you? Have you looked for a ring? Have you thought of all the ways you might propose to her? Are you wondering whether you should propose in the traditional manner or are you looking for a more creative way to propose?

It’s important to remember that your potential bride to be may love huge public displays of affection or she may be the shyer, quieter type who prefers a quieter, more private intimacy. Knowing her as you do, you will be better able to make the decision about how to propose to her.

With that in mind, here are a few creative ways to make your proposal.

Romance Her

Plan a romantic tryst for your love. Give her clues in the form of romantic gifts that will guide her from one to another. For example, send her flowers with a note to meet you at a certain time. Send her a piece of jewelry that suggests a dressed up affair for her to wear to when she meets you. Or ask her to dress and prepare and send a limousine to pick her up. Have it deliver her to the romantic location of your choice and greet her with the ring and a proposal.

Play Detective

Send her a series of clues, this will really intrigue her if she enjoys a good mystery. The clues should be designed to lead one to another. My favorite was the series of clues that greeted a woman when she came home. The first was a note on the door of the garage that instructed her to remove her shoes before she stepped inside and followed the path set forth for her. The rose petals lead through the house to her bathroom where a hot bubble bath, candles and beautiful music waited for her. The note told her to indulge herself for an hour and then when she was done and dressed, simply call the phone number. She followed the instructions and when she called the number, the groom-to-be told her to walk outside and follow her heart. She stepped out to find a heart with an arrow pointing in a direction on it. She followed it to see another arrow through another heart. She followed that one – finally she arrived at a small patio park just a block away from her home where a candle light dinner awaited her – the proposal occurred with their first toast.

Put the Pieces Together

Does your lady love enjoy puzzles? Take a picture of the two of you along with a proposal and have it made into a puzzle. Wrap it in beautiful paper and when you are settling in for a night of playing board games or puzzles or something else together, give her the gift – let her put the pieces of the puzzle together and be ready with the ring when she figures it out.

Propose on Vacation

Whether the two of you are on vacation or at an amusement park, make arrangements to propose during a time of much laughter and great fun. I know one gentleman who adored roller coasters and so did his bride-to-be. They took a vacation that allowed them to travel to some of the more famous roller coasters they’d always wanted to see and when they arrived at the last one, he proposed to her at the top of the first big drop – it was a crazy way to propose, but she loved it and screamed yes all the way down.

What other creative ways can you think of to propose?
