Want to know all about DNA? Or how about why we have daylight savings time? You can get the answers to these questions and more using the Answers Widget.
I don’t know how it is in your household, but it seems that my kids always seem to have a million questions for me as soon as I sit down at the computer. They know that I use it “to look up stuff,” so I guess they figure they will give me something to do. Some of the questions are pretty easy to answer right away, while others need some forethought and maybe even a little research.
Fortunately, with the Answers Widget, I can easily look up the answers to all sorts of pressing questions such as: “Why do I have hair on my arms?” and “Why doesn’t Elmo have a tongue?” I’m still trying to explain the answer to that last one.
Giving quick access to the Answers.com website, this little widget is very convenient to use. All that you need to do is type in your search term or terms and the answer will quickly pop into the display box on your dashboard. Images are also often included, so you can really see what an amoeba or the inside or your stomach looks like. (How is that for a diet aide?) Can’t remember who is buried in Grant’s tomb? Just type it in. Curious about the oldest living mammal or the tallest building in the world? Look the answers up in minutes. You can even click to enlarge the images and go to the Answers.com website, or click on included links to learn more about your topic.
