Week Thirty Three

With week thirty three came focus … finally. While not a lot has changed since week thirty two, I feel more centered. Most of my attention this week has gone to getting prepared for the holiday’s. I have also made steps to complete my crib bedding and I can finally visualize how I want to construct the bumper… I just need to find a day to invade my mother’s home to use her table and sewing machine as I do not have my own!

My daily routine has become much easier this week. I have found a rhythm to the errands I need to run and the tasks I need to complete at home. My biggest focus is getting Christmas presents bought and wrapped which is not an easy task with a large pregnant belly! I am happy to say that I am more than half done; my goal is to be completely finished by Thanksgiving.

My diet is back on track! I have once again found the strength to say no to extra indulgences aside from my almost daily serving of chocolate (usually with nuts for protein). No cakes, pies, or cookies have come to tempt me. My plan is to maintain my largely indulgent free diet to save up for some apple and pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving and Christmas morning cinnamon rolls!

The baby has continued to be very active this week! I have been able to distinguish limbs in her movements. She has had the hiccups several times this week which indicates that she is head down. I feel her little kicks in my ribs now and I cannot bend over my belly without a swift kick from my daughter. She must be getting a little crowded in there! On the whole she really seems to love my workouts. It seems to lull her to sleep!
