Week Thirty Two

As my thirty second week of pregnancy began, I realized that my pregnancy will be over before I know it. While I seem to be growing larger by the day, I am still trying to enjoy this pregnancy to the fullest and not take a single day for granted. I have not quite reached that point in my pregnancy where the strain is nearly unbearable but the size of my belly and the loosening of my ligaments etc are taking a tole. At thirty two weeks I sought out the preventative help of a chiropractor. It seems that chiropractic adjustments will help relieve a little strain and perhaps prevent any serious or persistent pain. I am also particularly interested in making sure that my uterus is properly aligned so that the baby can easily remain in the head down position. Aside from the occasional hip and lower back pain, I am still enjoying my pregnancy and my body seems to be adjusting well.

Over the course of week thirty two, I finally found my rhythm and have gotten back into the swing of my regular schedule. Tasks are getting done with more ease and I no longer feel strained with the every day house work. I have also managed to find the time and energy to make some preparations for Christmas, mostly Christmas shopping and gift wrapping. I also spent a little time working on some of my unfinished nursery projects: the crib skirt is made and the letters are painted.

The spooky holiday has not helped my diet in the least as I indulged in some Halloween favorites: carrot cake, caramel apples, and some chocolate goodies. Aside from the addition of these few treats, my diet at large has remained on track with one hundred grams of protein and a variety of whole foods etc.
