Week twenty seven has been largely uneventful in the world of pregnancy. I began the week with the same determination to maintain my pregnancy food journal and exercise routine. It has gotten easier to stay on track and I do not feel as deprived as I did when I started keeping tabs on everything. I feel like I am back in control again and that is incredibly empowering and it gives me even more motivation.
This week I officially put away all my pre-pregnancy clothes. Thankfully the weather has continued to be fairly cool so my fall/winter maternity wardrobe is working out quite well. Although now I am thinking about buying a maternity coat. All my jackets and coats cannot be buttoned and that might not be a problem but I might be more comfortable having a coat the fits well and covers my belly. The idea pf wearing an oversize coat to accommodate my pregnant belly is positively repulsive!
While I still have not found the inspiration to complete my numerous nursery projects: ballet paining, crib bumper, and skirt, I was overcome with the sudden urge to rearrange our bedroom. After getting our canopy bed and dresser arranged to my liking, I realized that the closet and my husbands clothes needed to be organized. After getting our room rearranged, organized, and cleaned, I moved on to the children’s closet and cleaned and organized that as well. Perhaps I am nesting … l just hope that I will have the motivation to finish my nursery projects soon.
Our daughter continues to be extremely active and it seems to me that she is already in head down position. I just hope and pray that she stays that way!
All is well on the pregnancy front and now I can officially welcome my third trimester!
