Eva Longoria says she is fat, but there’s a reason.
The “Desperate Housewives’” star is not expecting a baby, but her TV character has two kids and could be adding more in the future.
Okay, I have to stop there. Are you rolling your eyes at the idea that the teeny tiny actress is being called out in the media about her new slightly fuller figure?
If going from a size zero to a size one or two is getting “fat” then women around the world are in serious trouble.
For those of you who don’t watch the popular ABC series, Longoria’s on-screen character Gabrielle has undergone a major transformation for the upcoming season. The normally impeccably groomed rail-thin sex kitten will be portraying an over-worked housewife with two children when the show returns this fall.
According to Longoria’s rep, “Eva is making herself look like a worn out mother with kids. Gabrielle has gained weight and cut her hair.”
Longoria indeed has shorn off her locks as noted in recent pictures of her summering off the coast of Italy. As for the weight gain, Longoria reportedly put on an extra 10 pounds, but will also be wearing butt and stomach pads to play the aging Gabrielle.
Oh the horror!
We should all have to with the agony of having to put on pads to squeeze into a size four outfit.
Shockingly, Longoria is not the only female in Hollywood having to gain weight for a role.
FHM’s world’s sexiest woman, Megan Fox, has been ordered to pack on the pounds for her upcoming part in the upcoming “Transformers” sequel.
According to reports, director Michael Bay has told Fox, who recently topped FHM’s annual poll of Hollywood Hotties, to gain 10 pounds before shooting starts on the blockbuster sequel later this summer.
The 22-year-old actress told Fox News, “I’d lost a lot of weight and I got really scrawny, but I was told I had to put on a size for Transformers because Michael doesn’t like skinny girls.”
I guess there’s a first for everything.
And according to Fox, she’s taking her new assignment very seriously: “I eat red velvet cake before I go to bed every night.”
Oh the horror!
