On the Families.com forums, people were chatting about ground beef. There are so many things you can do with this relatively inexpensive meat, but it’s easy to get into a rut of cooking the same few entrees. Here are just a few suggestions to get you started with some new ideas:
.Beef stroganoff with ground beef – Simply brown ground beef with a little salt and pepper. At the same time, cook a package ofegg noodles according to package directions. When the ground beef is browned, add a can of tomato soup and a container of mushrooms. Stir together until warmed. Remove from heat and add a container of sour cream. Pour mixture over egg noodles.
.Meatloaf – try changing things up a bit by making individual mini-meatloaves.
.Macaroni pasta with ground beef (see recipe below)
.Hamburger Pizza – if you’ve never tried it, you must. It’s delicious.-Take your favorite store-bought pizza dough and top it with browned ground beef and onions then top it with cheddar cheese and bake until the cheese is melted and the crust is cooked through. You can also add olives or tomatoes for added flavor.
.Tater tot casserole (see recipe below)
.Stuffed tomatoes or bell peppers
.Tacos, burritos, beef enchiladas
.Meatballs for subs, spaghetti, or for sweet-n-sour meatballs
