Where in the World is Britney Spears?

Well, we know she’s not at Dr. Phil’s TV studio or at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center…

Actually, paparazzi not only caught up with the popwreck for the first time since she was sprung from her forced mental evaluation, they even gave her a ride home.

According to various news reports, the queen of meltdowns suffered a blowout last night in the middle of a busy Los Angeles intersection. The 26-year-old singer reportedly got a flat tire while driving her white Mercedes out of a drug store parking lot.

Reports say the paparazzi-hounded mother of two continued to drive with the flat for a few miles until she met up with police officers who allowed her to abandon her wheels on the side of the road. Then, in typical Britney fashion instead of letting uniformed law enforcement officers give her a lift home she decided to hitch a ride from the photographers who were trailing her.

I suppose it makes sense since these days it appears as though Brit’s only friends are the paps that follow her around all day—-every day. In fact, it was her favorite camera boy, Finalpixx photographer Adnan Ghalib, who was the first to hook up with the former Mouseketeer in the hours after her release from her stint at Cedars. The couple was caught dining at the Daily Grill in Palm Desert around 10 a.m. Sunday and she’s reportedly been on the move ever since, despite her recent popped tire incident.

In the meantime, Ms. Meltdown’s ex-husband Kevin Federline, who was recently awarded sole legal and physical custody of their two sons, was doing just the opposite.

Reports say K-Fed is enduring a self-imposed lockdown at his Tarzana home with 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James.

A pal of Federline’s told PEOPLE Magazine Monday: “He’s freaked about people seeing his kids. He doesn’t even have his phone on.”

The friend went on to say that Federline is “freaked” over his ex-wife’s breakdown and is upset that she was released from the hospital so soon. The sentiment was echoed by the only person who has been seen coming and going from Federline’s estate, his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, who reportedly visited the wannabe rapper/actor over the weekend.

A lawyer who makes house calls… now that’s a rare find.
