Is Halloween your favorite holiday? If so, then you might be ready to start playing around with some Halloween apps on your smartphone. Right now, there are a bunch that you can download and use for free. Some seem to be designed for small children to enjoy.
It can be expensive to celebrate a holiday. Halloween doesn’t have to be something that puts a tremendous strain on your budget, though. You can download FREE stencils that you can use to carve your pumpkin. You can follow the sales on Halloween costumes. There are even some Halloween apps that you can download for FREE.
Halloween! is a FREE app that can be used on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It has a countdown that tells you how many more days there are until Halloween. It has some scary Halloween sounds that you can play. You can use this app to play a game of Halloween trivia, or to figure out what your costume should be this year. It also gives you Halloween ringtones, background music loops, and wallpaper.
Halloween Coloring Book Free! is an app that can be used on Android devices. Right now, it is FREE to download. It has several Halloween images that you can color. This app is one that is appropriate for small children to use, (as well as adults who still enjoy coloring).
Memory Halloween is another app that can be used on Android devices. It is also FREE to download. You probably have played the game called “Memory” at some point. This is a Memory style game that uses Halloween pictures. This is another app that is appropriate for young children to play with.
Halloween is another FREE app that can be used on Android devices. This one is really simple. It shows a jack-o-lantern that flickers and glows. When you shake the device, you will hear the sound of crazy laughter. You can control the lights and the laughter by shaking the phone harder, or not as hard.
Halloween Pumpkins is another FREE app that can be used on an Android device. This is one a classic “match-3” style of game. You have to match three jack-o-lanterns that are of the same color. I haven’t tried this game myself, but I can see where it would be addicting!
I was unable to find out exactly how long these particular Halloween apps would be offered for FREE. If you find out that you like, I would suggest downloading it soon. If you wait too long, some of them might go back to their usual price, (or could increase in price as we get closer to Halloween).
