Will your kids be carving a jack-o-lantern this year? It can be helpful to use a stencil before children (or their parents), start cutting into that pumpkin! You can purchase these types of stencils from craft stores. Or, you can print some out for free, instead.
Kaboose has six different FREE printable Halloween stencils for you to choose from. Some of these are really simple in style, which might make it easier for kids who are not incredibly skilled at carving. Parents may want to point out which parts should be cut, and which parts should stay attached to the pumpkin, to make things a bit more successful. Choose from: a bat, a ghost, a scary pumpkin face, a skull, a spider, or a witch.
Disney has FREE printable Halloween stencils of a bunch of Disney characters. I think these are going to be too complex for little kids to be able to carve, but parents could “help” with that.
Choose from: Jack Skellington, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, “Vampire Mickey”, “Devil Donald”, Goofy, Phineas, Ferb, Perry the Platypus, Kermit the Frog, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Mike Wazowski (from Monsters, Inc.), Sully, (from Monster, Inc.), Snow White, Ariel, Timkerbell, Rapunzel, Stitch Witch, or Maleficent’s Dragon.
Nick Jr. has fourteen different FREE Halloween stencils to choose from. These would be good for kids who are going to draw their design on their pumpkin, (instead of carving it). I recognize characters from Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, and Yo Gabba Gabba. There are more, but I am not familiar with all the Nick Jr. characters.
Hershey’s 30 different Halloween stencils that you can print out and use for FREE. Ten of them are “easy”, ten are “intermediate” and ten are “advanced”. These designs are different versions of witches, bats, ghosts, spiders, pirates, and other classic Halloween designs. One stencil is for a Reese’s peanut butter cup that has a jack-o-lantern face on it.
Nick Jr. has three different Halloween wallpaper pictures that you can download for FREE and put on your computer. Choose from Dora the Explorer, The Backyardigans, and Yo Gabba Gabba!
MES Cards has a bunch of cute Halloween inspired, cards that you can print out for FREE. There are eight different designs that can be folded over, (like a traditional greeting card). Or, you can choose from four designs that have a space on the front of them where you can put a Halloween photo.
