What do your kids want for Christmas? This is the time of year when children start mentioning the things that they are hoping to get as gifts this year. Parents will want to check out the toy catalogs from various stores in order to find the best deal.
Walmart has a toy catalog for you to check out. I don’t think that Walmart has always done this, but they do have one this year.
Their toy catalog comes with a “Christmas Price Guarantee”. It works like this. You shop in a Walmart store (in other words, not from their website), for a toy for your child. This shopping must be done between November 1, 2011, until December 25, 2011.
Now, lets say that you find a lower advertised price on an identical in-stock product at a local retail competitor’s store. Bring in your original cash receipt, and the local competitor’s current printed ad, and Walmart will give you a Walmart gift card for the difference.
Toys R Us has “The Great Big Book of Toys”. It has hundreds of toys that you will only find at Toys R Us. This year’s catalog comes with over 50 FREE offers. Those offers appear next to certain toys in the catalog.
From now, through December 24, 2011, you can earn 10% back on your holiday purchases at Toys R Us and Babies R Us. You have to be a Rewards “R” Us member in order to do this. Members can earn up to a maximum reward of $50.00 during this holiday period. Members who spend $200 or more will get a FREE 2012 Rewards “R” Us Super Saver Pass, (which is valued over $100).
Target has a Holiday Toy Sale catalog. The prices listed in it are good through November 23, 2011. It also comes with a bunch of “Snowflake Coupons”, (which you can print out from their website.) Certain pages in the catalog are listed for $5.00 off (if you use a coupon).
Macy’s sort of has an online toy catalog. There are 22 items in this catalog, and some of them are on sale.
If you are going to shop at Macy’s, then you should do it on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. This is their Biggest One Day Sale of the year. This sale will have “huge savings”, and “limited-time deals”. If you shop from their website, then you can save an extra 25% on Macy’s Clearance items.
