White Chocolate Fudge with Brownie Chunks

I’ve seen a lot of recipes, but this one is new to me. Fudge and brownies…together? I have a sneaking suspicion this is delicious.

For this recipe you’ll need:

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

4 cups confectioners’ sugar (powdered sugar)

1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract

12 ounces white chocolate chopped (or 12 ounces white chocolate chips)

¾ cup chopped pecans

½ cup prepared brownie chunks, chopped

To make this recipe:

Grease an 8×8 baking dish. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

In a double boiler (make your own by placing a bowl over a pan with simmering water), heat the white chocolate, stirring until it is melted and smooth. (the heat should be at medium-low)

Fold the melted white chocolate and pecans into the cream cheese mixture. Fold in the brownie chunks. Spread into prepared baking dish and chill for one hour. Cut into 1-inch squares and serve.

**For the brownie chunks, I suggest buying store-bought. Or, if you’d rather, buy one of the packages of brownie mix at the grocery store in the baking aisle and bake according to package directions. They’re inexpensive and simple. You’ll just need to wait for them to cool completely before adding them to the recipe. It’s good to make them the night before if possible.
