Okay, so “Whoo Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins” is a couple of years old, but I have just gotten around to borrowing it from my nephew. This is another cute production from the Wiggles — the four Australian musicians who like to perform for children. At a running time of approximately 53 minutes, this is not just a collection of Wiggles music videos like many of the others. “Wiggly Gremlins” is sure to be another fun addition to your child’s Wiggles DVD collection.
The beginning of this DVD has the Wiggles on their way to Network Wiggles when the Big Red Car breaks down. They call Dorothy and the rest of their friends at the station and Captain Feathersword takes over at Network Wiggles until the Wiggles arrive. When Dorothy asks the Captain if he can take care of things, he asks her if she remembers when the Wiggles taught them how to use the cameras. The video “Camera One” plays and we see that the Captain did learn how to direct and use the cameras. In the meantime, the Wiggles have gotten the Big Red Car running again only to have it break down once more. Since they need to let it rest, they decide to have a drink of water and begin to sing “Gulp Gulp.”
The Wiggles finally arrive at Network Wiggles only to find out that everything has gone awry. We the viewers know that these mishaps have been caused by some rascally gremlins. The Wiggles and their friends continue to work around the television station only to have the gremlins continuing playing tricks on them.
“Whoo Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins” is a cute short film for any Wiggles fan. It will make you laugh and want to sing along to Wiggles favorites.
