Why Does the ABS Diet Work?

When we have so many diets in the world and so many of them don’t work as well as we might like them to. Why do I think the Abs Diet works? Well, first and foremost, I am not positive that it does. I do know that I like the recommendations. I do know that I believe the methodology that ZincZenko espouses.

For example, in his book he discusses the fact that one in four Americans are on a diet. He also discusses the fact that of those on a diet – 95% are likely to fail to reach their goals, much less stick the diet. Of that number, 19 in 20 will revert back to their old weight. Or worse – they will gain even more weight than they had before they went on the diet.

If I weren’t discouraged about weight loss before – those statistics would definitely do it for me. ZincZenko discusses why these diets are so likely to fail and to be honest – I couldn’t agree with his reasoning more. The majority of today’s diets are ridiculously restrictive. They say you should never eat carbs. They say you should eat all the saturated fats you want. They make you keep track of points or numbers or calories. They require that you track your diet in terms of phases and more.

What’s worse – is that most of them are not designed for the long term. They do little to educate you on how to handle your diet when you go off the plan. In a nutshell, ZincZenko lists every single problem I’ve ever had with dieting in general, much less in specific with the popular diets of the modern day.

So, in light of all this – why does ZincZenko’s plan works when the other plans fail? Because ZincZenko doesn’t emphasize restrictive dieting nor does he focus on everything you shouldn’t do. Instead, he explains the power foods. He explains protein smoothies. He makes some pretty extravagant promises and we’re going to have to see how this goes. He also employs a mixture of exercise (including specific exercises targeting the abdominal muscles) and eating six small meals a day.

The idea is that you eat well and you never let yourself get really hungry. Scientifically verified, the Abs Diet is a simple program that seeks to nurture the body rather than the cravings. Scientifically, the best weight loss program is the one that steadily helps you trim back the pounds without starvation or deprivation. The steady weight loss plan allows your body, your metabolism and your lifestyle to accommodate the changes you are making.
