Why People Never Marry Reason #1 No True Love
Some people never find what they believe is their true love. They would like to get married but just have not found that special someone. There could be various reasons why the right person has not come along. It may be that the expectations are too high. Some people are very self involved and are not willing to give in a relationship. They are looking for a perfect person in which does not exist. In other cases, there is nothing wrong with the person; they simply have not found someone. The longer a person goes without finding someone, the harder it is. By middle age, most people are either already married, divorced, or has children. The religion and values of some people does not allow them to date others in these categories.
Why People Never Marry Reason #2 No Desire
Some people just do not want to get married. They like living their life by their own terms. They have no desire to have children. They prefer a life with their career. They may have an occasional date but are never looking for a serious relationship. Many people in this situation are greatly involved in the children of their brothers and sisters. They prefer to spoil family members’ children and then send them back home. Being the cool aunt or uncle sounds much better than being mom or dad.
Why People Never Marry Reason #3 Bad Experiences
Sometimes people just cannot get over a bad experience. It may be a terrible break-up or the death of a boyfriend or girlfriend. After you are deeply hurt, it may hard to trust another. If you lost the love of your life you may not find anyone else that compares. This person is usually either scared to love again or has hardened from the pain.
