There are plenty of ways to save on money as you plan your wedding. My husband and I chose to skip over all of the decision making about the dress, the cake, the table settings, the guest list, and the invitations, and just elope. We got married in a courtroom, and there was very little wait time. I got married in a white lacy shirt, a denim skirt, and gym shoes.
This was our way of saving money while making sure our wedding would be as simple and stress free as possible. I realize, however, that there are a lot of women who truly desire to have a big wedding, and who want to walk down the aisle in a beautiful wedding gown.
Later this year I will be attending a wedding that is going to be large, filled with family, and including all of the details that my husband and I didn’t feel like dealing with when we got married. You must choose from dresses and gowns that are from the current season of David’s Bridal gowns. Alterations are not included in the prizes, but that won’t be much of an expense, if you win the gown or dresses for free!
