Disney has released its list of the “Ten Most Wanted” gifts for kids this holiday season. The expected big sellers are those toys that are related to Disney Princesses, Little Einsteins, Hannah Montana, High School Musical and Cars.
According to Jessica Dunne, executive Vice President of Global Toys for Disney Consumer Products: “Our hot holiday list is filled with great gift ideas that let kids do what they
love – imagine and play with Disney storylines and characters in new and interesting ways.”
The following top ten are available at toy stores, department stores and also at DisneyShopping.com.
Disney’s Ten Most Wanted for the 2007 Holiday Season:
Disney Princess Tea Time With Me Belle – This is a 15-inch interactive doll that can converse, sing a song and even lift her cup in tandem with the child. This is touted as a great item for role play for girls ages 3-5 and sells for $39.99.
Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket – Rocket plays classical songs to your child and the music varies depending upon how the child plays. When your child pats, the rocket starts up (just like it does on the Little Einsteins television show.) If they fly the rocket higher, the music gets louder. For lower volume, they need to fly it low. Rolling the rocket will make the music go either faster or slower. If you don’t mind loud classical music, you may just want to pay the $39.95 and buy this for your 3-5 year-old.
Disney Princess Enchanted Tales Deluxe Princess Castle – This is the first Disney Princess castle designed to accommodate 11” dolls which means that Barbie can be a princess too! This pink and gold castle comes complete with balcony, turrets, and an elevator that spins 360 degrees while playing music. This three story beauty opens up to allow play in bedrooms, a dining room, bathroom, sitting room and foyer. Each room comes fully furnished. Sounds featured include a musical doorbell, elevator music, and a chiming grandfather clock that announces tea party time. This little beauty will set you back $99.99 but your 3-6 year-old will love it!
Hannah Montana Singing Doll & Pop Star Stage (sold separately) – This girl’s concerts are selling out across the country and every little girl seems to want to be her. This is a 11.5” doll that sings “Best of Both Worlds” and comes with such accessories as a microphone, brush and collectible poster. The Hannah Montana Pop Star Stage is designed for use with the doll and has a lighted runway, guitar, audience sound effects and microphone stand. This high tech wonder even includes hook-ups for iPod and MP3 players and has a real working microphone for your little songstress to use. The doll is $19.99 but the stage will cost you $59.99. Get your daughter started now and maybe her concerts will be selling out in a few years from now. Of course it might also help if her father was Billy Ray Cyrus.
Cars Mega Mack Playtown – For $39.99 you can get this 24” talking Mack Truck that opens to reveal three movie adventure sets inside. Lightning McQueen, Doc Hudson and Bessie vehicles are included.
Disney Flix Video Cam – What is it with kids and cameras? This is a real video camera designed for kids. It features a 1.5-inch color view screen and 640 x 480 VGA resolution. Disney iPod Compatible Speakers – These come in both the High School Musical model that looks like a school locker and the Hannah Montana model which is purple and silver with a character silhouette. Both have a radio and alarm clock built in. This will cost you $59.99.
Disney Pix Max Digital Camera – So your little one isn’t ready to be Ron Howard yet. How about Ansel Adams?
